Mudryk<\/a> has failed to find his feet at Stamford Bridge, though, netting just three times in 44 Premier League<\/a> outings so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, the Ukraine international was being considered by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich<\/a>, who recently found themselves with an injury crisis in attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report adds that Thomas Tuchel’s side made a last-ditch bid to lure the forward to Bavaria but Chelsea barely entertained the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Before bringing in Bryan Zaragoza, Bayern, they asked about the possibility of signing Mykhaylo Mudryk from\u00a0Chelsea<\/a>,” Romano said on his\u00a0Here We Go Podcast.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“He is a player appreciated by Bayern and they feel in this moment he is not playing on a regular basis and so they tried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“But from Chelsea, there was not even a discussion and in hours Bayern knew it was not possible to discuss for Mudryk.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the failed attempts to sign Mudryk, Bayern changed the terms of Bryan Zaragoza’s transfer from Granada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winger was initially due to join for the start of the 2024\/25 season, but Bayern brought his arrival forward after an injury to Kingsley Coman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bayern also signed Eric Dier from Spurs on-loan<\/a>, who linked-up with former Tottenham<\/a> teammate Harry Kane<\/a> at the Allianz Arena, and ex-Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mudryk was an unused substitute as Chelsea\u00a0defeated Crystal Palace 3-1<\/a>\u00a0at Selhurst Park on Monday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
